Reaching kids for Jesus Christ through camping.

The mission of Indian Hills Camp is simple and reflects the foundational purpose of investing in the spiritual development of youth, by giving them a space to experience God’s creation.

Who we Are

forgiven

We believe that our lives are redeemed by the saving work of Jesus Christ and we are able to work to make His name known in our lives through speaking, working, serving, and helping.

Humble

We have been given an amazing life to bring the Gospel to all through Camp. We have our titles and positions at camp. But no one is above serving and helping others, whether filing reports or scrubbing toilets.

Active

As members of IHC, our staff are active in their faiths and involvement in the local church. As an organization, IHC is active in the local community and supporting those around us. We seek to be a place of family, personal, and spiritual growth by providing a community in nature.

Available

We're here to help, so don't be shy to flag any of us down. We'll work to make it happen or connect you with someone who can. Our thought is that it's always my job to work with our guests.

statement of Faith

The entire Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, the only infallible rule of faith and practice.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and was true Man and is true God.

We believe that in this age, God manifests Himself through the Holy Spirit who is a distinct personality, eternally coexistent with the Father and the Son, whose basic task is to convict sinners, regenerate those who believe and empower believers to live godly lives and in every way glorify the Father and the Son through His indwelling presence.

We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death that was eternal separation from God and is upon all men.

We believe the term “marriage” has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture.

We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other.

We believe that any form of sexual immorality (including adultery, cohabitation, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, or use of pornography) is sinful and offensive to God.

We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity.  Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with Scripture nor the doctrines of Indian Hills Camp.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the basis of His shed blood.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ was resurrected in body, ascended into heaven, presently lives there for us as High Priest and Advocate, and that His personal, physical return to earth is imminent.

We believe that there will be a bodily resurrection of both the just and the unjust, the just to the everlasting blessedness of the saved and the unjust to the everlasting conscious suffering of the lost.

We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female. These two distinct, complementary sexes together reflect the image and nature of God. Rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person.

We believe that marriage between one man and one woman, for life, uniquely reflects Christ’s relationship with His Church.

We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman.

We believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ.

We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death.  We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life.
