All schools must provide appropriate counselors for their campers (at least one counselor per 10 campers of each gender). Each cabin holds 12 people, and a separate counselor is required for each cabin of boys and girls. Smaller schools/groups may coordinate with other schools/groups to share the counselor duties for a specific cabin of boys or girls. The children must have counselors for their entire stay. As per the California State Requirements, the maximum camper to counselor ratio is 10:1.
